How deep is the ocean?

3/4 of our planet is already covered in ocean, and it goes a lot deeper than what we think. Let's start with a sense of scale,
That three dots right there is the size of an average human, an elephant and the biggest ship that ever built, the "Knock Nevis" .

The 1st milestone is at 40Meters , which is the maximum dive depth allowed for a recreational scuba diving.
A little further down at 332Meters , we reach the world's scuba diving record done by Ahmed Gabr.

Down at 443Meters we'll reach at the height of the Empire State Building when it is turn upside down.

Down at 830Meters we'll reach the highest height of Burj Khalifa if it is turned upside down.

Way down at 1,000Meters we'll enter the "The Scary Zone" this is the 1st part of the ocean where light doesn't exist down here,  the part where everything is covered into darkness.
At 2,000Meters we'll start to encounter the "Black Dragonfish" a deep sea carnivorous animal which cannot be seen without any light, and it is very sensitive to it's environment .

At 2,250 Meters we'll start to encouter some  scary looking "Giant Squids". A squid that is 14Meters long and it has an eyeball that has the same size of a dinner plate and a tentacles that is sharp as a knife.
At 4,000 Meters we'll start to encounter the "The Abyssal Zone" And there's a lot of strange alien like creatures that inhabit this depth such as the "Fang tooth" , "Angler Fish" , and the "Viper Fish".

At 6,000 Meters we'll encounter the "Hadal Zone" named after hades himself, The water pressure at this depth is 1,100x greater than what we have here, so you'll be crush immediately without any outside protection, but life still exist down here.

Way down at 8,848Meters we'll reach the highest point of Mt. Everest if it is turned upside down

At 10,916Meters we'll reach the maximum depth explored by human beings , when 2 men named "Don Walsh" and "Jacques Piccard" explored the challenger deep. It took them 5 hours to descent but they only stay for like 20 minutes right after a window crack due to the extreme water pressure down there.

Scientist believe that only 5% of our ocean is explored and the remaining 95% is unexplored, It may be a matter of time until a new part of our ocean is explored, And who knows what we may discover there.
